The 2012 Hyundai Genesis R-Spec will feature a 5.0 with 429 hp, yes please.
A Hyundai? Stepping into the big leagues. this should be interesting
I know that their cars have been nicer looking lately, but this is still a hyundai. The 429 bhp would probably propel this bucket of loose bolts to right around 175 mph, until the steering or brakes gave out…
Your ignorance is amazes me.
Seriously Rob, you are just going to troll and roll like that? I am pegging you now as a 17 year old hyundai owner at this point. Me? I am 20 years older than that and have a fam-wagon (subaru) that i bought used, is paid off and continutes to run and run.
Hyundai – when introduced in the 80's were crap, continued to be crap and probably still are. Stuffing a 5L+ engine into a car doesn't make it good (See a Vauxhall VXR8 for reference).
affordable full size sedan
They should stuff this engine into the Genesis Coupe.
This is an amazing vehicle. When I was in sales, one of the top guys had one and it was one of the nicest things I've ever been a passenger in. It was wasn't Lexas LS good, but it was close.
Looks like a stretched out 2012 Kia Optima turbo
I happen to own a Genesis 5.0 R Spec
Traded my E60 M5 for it – and I'm glad I did
The 5.0 R Spec is more comfortable, gets better gas mileage
and comes with a better warranty
The M5 should come with a free chiropractor
The M stand for misery on city roads
