a little before my time, they were weird looking cars but well built
one of the most beautiful cars i have ever seen
this a clsics cars,,nice
almost looks like the Edsel
#6 looks like Plymouth Fury
What a mix of ideas for cars to come: #10 Edsel nose with '63 vette front and '67 vette stinger hood
Remember this is 1956. Who stole from whom ?
A lot of great design ideas from Packard were copied by Ford, GM and Chrysler. Too bad Packard couldn't get them built in time.
That upright nose was an original Packard design in earlier cars. They were trying to bring that idea back when they were trying to return Packard to its more upscale/luxury status it had at one time, similar to Cadillac. Too bad that Packard was shut down when the Nash/Studebaker/Packard -> American Motors deal went south.
