Maybe one of the most rugged and usable off-road vehicles of all time, the Rokon "Trail Breaker" was the first mass produced 2 wheel drive motorcycle. Designed to go places that can only be reached by horse or human walking, the Trail Breaker was not a fast motorcycle by any means. Although it's top speed was only around 20 mph (on a good day) this bike was so capable off road that it didn't matter. One of the unique and functional design cues included being able to store gas in the wheel wells in case you really went off the beaten path and needed to get back home, and because gas is less dense than water, the tires would float allowing a person to float the bike across a body of water. It certainly wouldn't win any beauty contests, but when you are in the middle of nowhere, no one cares.
