In addition to the Roadster, Tesla Motors introduced another model in order to flesh out their product offerings, the Model S. The Model S is Tesla's take on the sedan, offering seating for up to 7 people and a much more refined interior than the adopted interiors of the Lotus Elise on which the original Roadster is based. Tesla Motors has also been working on their battery technology to make it more efficient and practical for everyday use. Instead of using the huge "brick" of batteries in the Roadster, Tesla decided to create a battery pack that would sit underneath the floorboard to give better weight distribution and lower the car's center of gravity with an improved handling as a result. Tesla is on the right track with the Model S. Now just don't tell anyone at Tesla that they are on the verge of bankruptcy. Ok?
